Ever felt tired after work or even after a big day out? Not wanting to cook? Well you are in for a treat! Australia’s No.1 online takeaway in Australia (Menulog) is what you have been looking for!
Out of the 3,500+ restaurants around Australia, we choose to put the Menulog service to the test with iThai – Padstow.
Thanks Menulog for providing us with a menulog voucher to cover a meal of our own choice.
It’s effortlessly simple to use and really user friendly. Check out how easy it was for us to order a nice thai meal. We had a dinner date out in our own room (how convenient!)
Visit the menulog website http://www.menulog.com.au/and search for a restaurant in your local area! Then a list of restaurants near your suburb will appear. We decided to choose the Padstow area for the review. You can already see a list of tempting restaurants. It was a tough choice but we managed to agree with iThai Padstow.
Now that we’ve selected our restaurant, what happens next? The menu will appear hence the wonderful service ‘menulog’. All you have to do is discuss with your friends and family and convince them to agree with your dish choice. Then, click on the + button to add it to your order.
What we love about Menulog is the ability to make your own choices. As you can see in our order below, we had many choices and got to adjust the chilli to our liking!
The final step is to confirm your order and viola! Your order as been placed and you will receive a booking confirmation reference number as well as a text (which puts our mind at ease)!
They even have a loyalty credit! Talk about rewarding loyal customers hey?!
The order was expected to arrive 30mins after our order was placed. It arrived just a little over 20 mins only! Talk about the speed of delivery!!
We love our thai food. It's one of our favourite cuisine. iThai is located in Padstow (just across the road from Padstow station.
Who doesn't love spring rolls as a starter? We had the crispy rice paper rolls, filled with cabbage, carrot, vermicelli and sliced blackfungi served with plum sauce. It's full of oily goodness and is complimented well with the plum sauce.
Next on the menu is the Chicken Satay. The sauce definitely stands out in this dish as there isn't much else to it. However, the sauce was delicious! What a lot of restaurants don't seem to understand is that a good chicken satay will have peanuts crushed through it rather than just a peanut flavored sauce. i-Thai must have read my mind though ;)
Masterchef in the making my dear. Matt decided to eat a little bit fancy. That's also something you could do with Menulog. Order some food, place it on a nice fancy plate and surprise your loved one. They will never have to know the truth... :)
We loved the coconut rice! There's two sizes (small and large). We got a large coconut rice - I can eat the rice alone.
But ofcourse, no matter how much of the coconut rice I can eat, it always compliments a spicy curry well. What's better than iThai's Panang Curry - a distinctive and sharp southern style mild coconut curry with mixed vegetables, line leaves and ground toasted peanuts.
Snapshots of Food was provided with a voucher to spend at a participating restaurant of our choice in exchange for this review. All opinions expressed are our own.
