Food Trucks United | CBD

Hmm mixed feelings about food trucks united. I was so hyped up and looked forward to this event and unfortunately, it was a let down. I found the food ridiculously overpriced, not that tasty and dry except for the crunchy chips and sweet potato chips The chicken wing was dry.. and the pulled pork bun was, let's just say an acquired taste.

Sweet potato chips from Veggie Patch

Tall crass cane juice

Freshly squeezed lemon juice with a dash of coconut from Limonada Limonada.Surprisingly, quite tasty!

 Haloumi burger from Veggie Patch.

Pulled pork bun from Eat Art Truck – Progressive street food fused with captivating street art. My boyfriend said it tasted like tuna and looked like tuna...was not impressed. WARNING: If you are planning to try this, it is definitely an acquired taste!

Crunchy chip from Eat Art Truck – Progressive street food fused with captivating street art. Okay, this was the highlight of our night (next in line was the coconut lemon juice). It lived up to what it said... most certainly crunchy!!!!!!!!

Okay, now one of the dishes on Tsuru's menu was a pandan pancake. I don't know about you... but my interpretation of a pandan pancake is something like this: http://images.tastespotting.com/uploads/thumbnail/278040.jpg. Out of excitement, we rushed to the van and noticed a large crowd and waited patiently in line. When we were close enough to the truck, we could see the display food. And then we turned around because the pandan pancake from my interpretation is not a pandan pancake :(

Nonetheless, we had an awesome time!

I was so upset that the food truck I wanted to visit was not there :( I wanted to visit the Jafe Jaffles!!

Food Truck United happens the first Friday of every month.
