Top Impression Bakery and Patisserie Cafe | Arncliffe

Top Impression Bakery has been trending or was a trend (we usually visit after the hype), famous for their Green Tea Croissant. We eventually checked out what the fuss was about! The store is conveniently located opposite Wolli Creek station. When we entered we were a little underwhelmed.. I guess we were expecting a cafe as opposed to a shop similarity designed like Breadtop, by which it operated more like a take-away shop than a cafe. There was limited seating, so if you visit be sure to keep this in mind! 

Salted Caramel Popcorn Croissant

This was fantastic!! The croissant was crisp and flaky and the salted caramel was oh so sweet that it sent shivers down my spine. The only problem was that by half way through the croissant, it was enough. The filling got a bit too much and I wanted to put it aside. It is definitely not something to be eaten in one go, but definitely worth taking away to eat later on!!

Green Tea Croissant 

Whenever there is hype, I often think if it is worth the hype. The Green Tea croissant was enjoyable but it didn't really have the wow factor we were looking for. After eating this, I didn't have the urge to return or give any rave reviews about it to my friends and colleagues.
