Miss America's Diner | Riverwood

Looking for a fun, colourful, American diner restaurant located in the suburbs? Miss America's Diner is opened in Riverwood on Friday night and Sunday night. It's a pop up restaurant just a short walk from Riverwood station. You are guaranteed to have a ball so bring your friends along and enjoy the American diner atmosphere! The place is decked out with American styled decorations - which is anything reminded us of Las Vegas with all the neon lights, giant ice-cream sundaes and a pictures around the place. 

Miss America's Diner Pop Up offers a range of exciting burgers, hot dogs, sides and dessert. The popular burgers include James Dean-Be a Rebel and Nevada Get Me Wrong. Loving their creativity and presentation. We can't comment on each individual burger as we only tasted the Nevada Get Me Wrong which mind you, was pretty damn impressive especially so close to home. Two beef patties, separated by cheddar, bacon, lettuce, onions, pickle and the most important ingredient.. the homemade Nevada sauce. The nature of the burger alone very much replicated our experience in Las Vegas at Heart Attack Grill - which pays tribute to it's authenticity.

Aside from their burgers there is a large range of "Dawgs" to choose from, some of which include choices like the Fat Elvis and Hot Diggity Dawg. The menu is very creative with the names of all their menu items - it presents the perfect conversation starter for awkward group outings!. Of course with burgers and hot dogs, you also need sides. Now the sides here are not your usual chips or wedges (which at this point in time sounds very boring to mention), their sides include hot wangs, cheesy fries, and heart attack fries which is essentially a large bowl of skinny fries, loaded with crispy bacon, melted cheese and shallots. Where else would you find something so crazy?

FINALLY, after you load yourself with all this fatty goodness, you MUST make room for dessert, did someone mention a MILKSHAKE? Yep! Do as we did and order it before the food is delivered so you have something to dip your chips into. Their milkshakes are made with malt, soft serve and whipped cream topped with lots and lots of lollies. Oh geez, I feel so full after writing about the night and looking back at all the photos.
