Cyren Bar Grill Seafood | Darling Harbour

Cyren has been created as a visually stunning space, featuring a mix of open and intimate areas. We were seated outside in a nice spacious table. The interior design is filled with orange chairs and white/bleached timbers. Cyren's diverse menu is crafted with simplicity and plated to perfection. They are running an Instagram competition where you could win a $150 dining voucher. Cyren is part of Nick's Restaurant & Bar Group - they own venues like Nick's Seafood, Adria, I'm Angus, Nick's Bar & Grill and Stacks, impressive right?

Antipasto
We enjoyed a lovely antipasto platter with calamari to share. The antipasto platter had air dried beef, salami and proscuitto served with toasted sourdough, olives, feta cheese and assorted pickles. Antipasto is best enjoyed with more than two people! Don't forget to order a glass or two to cleanse your palette - so you can keep going for more!

Crab & Zucchini Omelette
When this dish arrived at the table, our eyes were wide opened - you guys know our love for zucchini flowers (especially stuffed ones). The title doesn't do this dish justice! It should be screaming 'amazing stuffed zucchini flower' with crab and zucchini omelette. The zucchini flower filling was delicious and creamy. We left the zucchini flower on the table for a while and it still remained crunchy!

Slow & Low Cooked Lamb Croustillant
The fat on the lamb could've been rendered a little longer but we enjoyed the overall dish. There are so many elements on the plate. The crunchy texture from the lamb croustillant, the fresh taste from the peas, the soft purple potato and the creamy element from the sauce. The lamb meat itself was cooked well but the absolute stand out is the lamb croustillant. The slow cooked lamb had lots of flavour and pulled apart ever so slowly...

To finish the dining experience, we sipped down a cocktail and a mocktail. Matt saw the 100's and 1000's cocktail which had fairy floss infused vodka, wenneker peach schnapps, cranberry juice & a squeeze of line served in a 100's and 1000's rimmed cocktail glass. Sure to say this one for a sweet tooth. Christie stayed away from alcohol and ordered the First Crush mocktail which had strawberry, lychee, fresh line, raspberry and apple juice.
