Manjits at the Wharf | King Street Wharf
We were treated to an Indian feast at Manjit's at the Wharf. At Manjit's, you can expect to see traditional Indian food with a few modern twists. It's amazing interior is so grand, spacious and perfect for a special evening. The venue is fit for a wedding or big celebrations; one where you can impress your guests. What you see on the table above is what we were served. We were overwhelmed with the amount of food coming out of the kitchen. It was literally never ending! We were having a conversation with Varun who told us this can easily feed two indians. GEEZ, we were in disbelief. If you want to impress your guests, ask for the giant naan bread. It'll sure be the topic of the night. We loved the butter chicken, lamb cutlet and the amazing biryani. The biryani was served with pastry on a hot pot. It was cut right infront of us and mixed together with the chicken and the rice. Such an honour to see how traditional Indian food should be served. The dishes were prepared so well, cooked to perfect and with love. This is definitely an unforgettable Indian feast in one of Sydney's waterfront location.
We had a few starters which included Raita and Pappadums (left) and signature mains (right)
One of their signature main is Baingan Takatak which is served in a smoked glass lid.
Above are featured mains and entrees - notable one for us was the Bharrah Kebab (lamb cutlet)
Varun adding finishing touches (left) and India's favourite icecream, Mango Pistachio Kulfi (right)
