Mr Chen Beef Noodle | Haymarket

Mr Chen Beef Noodle is located in Prince Centre, near UTS Insearch and Market City. It's buzzing with customers and makes you feel like you are in China. I love how they serve their dishes in traditional China bowls as it reminds me of my childhood. Try to sit near the window so you can see the noodle making in action! All the noodles are handmade with love and to your liking as they have different types of noodles; we chose the wide and wider option. It tasted like eating thin wonton wrappers - chewy and soft (I absolutely loved it).

Mr Chen Beef Noodle not only serves noodle dishes but they also have great starters/side options like soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, pork buns, egg and spinach tofu and more! I wish I had a bigger stomach to be able to sample everything from their menu! We ordered the Lanzhou Beef Noodle with wider noodle (their widest option) and the Pork and Chicken Noodle with wide noodle. The serving size of the noodle was extremely generous in both dishes to the point where I would only order one noodle dish along with some sides to share! The pan fried pork bun was delicious, the filling had so much flavour! We also had way too much fun lifting noodles for the perfect Instagram shot and boomerang (it's crazy how high we could lift these noodles).
