Kelby's Cafe | Marrickville

When you step into Kelby's Cafe, you are stepping into Moe Issa's home. It was a dream come true for Moe to welcome customers into the world of Kelby's Cafe - the food, decoration, coffee and warm vibe provides each customer a special dining experience. We were seated outside in Marrickville and enjoyed the warm sun, pedestrian watching and the hustle and bustle from vehicles on the road. After we made our order, we waited eagerly for the food not knowing what to expect. When the food arrived at our table, we were blown away with the presentation and our first thought was COLOUR POP!

Warm French Toast 

The french toast is made from Turkish bread which actually gave the dish another level of crunch. We felt like choosing the bacon and caramelised banana option and devoured it! It might've poured too much maple syrup on the french toast which is how I enjoy it!

Kelby's Hash

This was my favourite dish from Kelby's Cafe. It's nothing we ever tasted before let alone seen. There were baked potatoes, grilled halloumi, sujuk, spinach topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. It's almost like a benedict but with a middle eastern or Egyptian twist - the spices were perfect and the ingredients blended so well together.
