Vizio Caffè e Cucina | Woolloomooloo

When we traveled to Italy, we were just eating wood fired pizza, pasta and plenty of gelato. I loved how no pizza or pasta tasted the same but I was a little (food) homesick. We are so spoiled for choice in Sydney. As we settled back into reality mode, I couldn't wait to have food that wasn't Italian but I pulled up my calendar and realised I booked a review with Vizio (looks like we can't escape Italy).

Black Angus Tartare
The presentation was different to how we expected a beef tartare to be served. I quite liked the way it was presented but wanted more crisps. It was also very smart to substitute the egg yolk with homemade mayo as it not only elevated the creaminess of the tartare, it also provided it with extra flavour!

Fritturina
We saw Fritturina on the menu and had order it. We tried Fritturina in Capri for the very first time and enjoyed it so much! It was lightly battered and the zucchini was cut into fine julienne. When these deep fried calamari, prawns and zucchini arrived at our table, we couldn't wait to dig in -- and anything deep fried is always amazing!

Homemade Truffle & Potato Ravioli
As we were walking to our table, we saw so many ravioli dishes on tables and had to order one for ourselves. The ravioli would suit someone who prefers a subtle taste whereas, we love our jampacked flavours.
