Huxtaburger | Redfern
Huxtaburger recently celebrated their first birthday and also launched a new menu. They have a range of beef burgers, chicken burgers and five vege & plant based burgers! We also enjoyed their sides - especially the crunchy onion rings and gravy chips (but not as you know it). The gravy consistency was thinner than usual and we later found out that it was a vegetarian gravy.
We ordered two burgers, two sides, a couple drinks and two desserts. We ordered the Theo beef burger which comes with double grass-fed beef patty, double cheese, bacon, bbq sauce, mustard, mayo, tomato, lettuce and pickles and the Henry chicken burger which comes with your choice of a grilled or fried chicken with tom-oli sauce and lettuce.
There were two items on Huxtaburger's dessert menu and we tried both of them. The first one was the ice cream burger which comes with vanilla ice cream rolled in Huxta crunch with your choice of chocolate or caramel sauce in Huxtaburger's signature bun. The second one was a Vanilla Sundae rolled in Huxta crunch with chocolate or caramel sauce.
