Petit Cafe Traditional French Crepes | Kuranda

The one thing that we love best at Kuranda (The Village in the Rainforest) is Petit Cafe Traditional French Crepes! The serving size is massive, filling, delicious and affordable! But the crepe itself, is beautifully made. It is nice and thin, but not to the point where it won't hold it's shape amongst all the juices. It reminded me of the crepe we enjoyed at the "French Festival in sydney".

Relaxing and enjoyable our vacation away. The atmosphere is very casual and laid back. Very different to what I would expect from a "Traditional French Cafe". You could say it had a very Australian twist !

Starting off with Lemonade (home style) and Iced Lemon Tea.

Classic Crepe
with Garlic Mushrooms, Egg, Cheese and Baby Spinach (oh my, there were a mountain filled with garlic mushrooms and layers of bacon with a blanket of spinach). I couldn't believe I could finish the entire dish!!
(Okay, I lied. I had to leave some filling untouched haha)

Gourmet Crepe
with Australian Bush Spcied Chicken, Cheese, Feta, Kalamata Olives, Cherry Tomatoes and baby spinach (lots of it). I'll be honest, the Lime on top of the crepe was utterly useless. This crepe was so full of flavour that it didn't even need it! The herb rubbed chicken..... The best part of the dish by far. They could sell the chicken alone and it would be a hit seller. But when mixed with Kalamata olives and Feta cheese, you have a winner! GIVE ME THE MONEY... so I can buy more =)

We should've ordered the below drink but only found out about this at the cash register!
And at that point, we could not fit anything else in our stomach!

This place is not the most convenient of places to get to. It is even located within a dodgy-looking market, so we only happened to stumble upon this by sheer luck. Luckily we did, because this was definitely the highlight of our day tour to Kuranda! This is a DEFINITE MUST DO.
