Voulez Vous serves Modern Australian and European dining in the heart of Surry Hills. It's located next to the ever so talked about, Butter Sydney. You may have walked past Voulez Vous without even knowing. The interior is designed by architects in Milan to bring the class and culture of Europe to Sydney, and wow it definitely does not disappoint. They have a 4K TV which is dedicated to being a "fish tank" for crying out loud!
Freshly Made Juices
Christie ordered the freshly made juice which had pineapple, orange, ginger and apple. The drink was very heavily overpowered with the taste of pineapple and the ginger was not evident. But it sure didn't stop her from wanting more!
Stone & Wood - Pacific Ale
Matt is a beer fanatic now and you will not see him at a restaurant without a beer in his hand. The Pacific Ale from Stone and Wood (voted Australia's #1 craft beer) became Matt's favourite craft beer. It is locally brewed in NSW which makes it even better.
The presentation at Voulez Vous does not disappoint. When this was brought out to the table, not only did I think to myself "how on earth am I going to finish that", but I was amazed at how colourful and nicely presented a plate of sausages could look. Chevapi is popular in Matt's family he knew exactly what to expect. It is very hard to explain, but the chevapi is full of herbs which make it full it flavour. It is especially great when you add that VV sauce to the mix again, proving to be again a dipping sauce for anything and everything. A highly regarded dish if you were to visit.
The atmosphere and aesthetically pleasing environment alone is enough for me to convince you to come visit this place and try it for yourself. But seeing that plate of chevapi should be enough for you to convince yourself!
The chicken slovakia was a treat, but was quite bland otherwise. When combined with the special VV sauce, it made it a dish worth noting. The sauce was definitely the savior of this dish.. We were dipping everything into this sauce, the chips included!
Thank you Zomato for the voucher to dine at Voulez Vous. We had a lovely time and felt like we had exclusive ground floor access. It's a shame that a place as lovely as this, isn't known to many, especially on a Saturday for lunch.
