Manoosh Pizzeria | Enmore

Located just a short walk away from Newtown station is Manoosh Pizzeria. They are known for their fast delivery, affordability and delicious pizza. They've been awarded Menulog's Best Takeaway Restaurant in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 (Best in NSW/ACT) and 2016. We're super excited to see how Manoosh Pizzeria is compared against our local favourite Lebanese bakery!

 Meat Pizza (Lahembajin)
On our walk to Manoosh Pizzeria, Matt and I were chatting away hoping the pizza/bread would be baked in a wood fired oven. We were talking about the toppings and whether or not it'll be similar to our local favourite. On arrival, we noticed it wasn't a wood fired oven but when the pizza/bread was ready, it looked pretty damn good. Matt grew up with traditional Lebanese pizza and said this brought back childhood memories - loved the base, topping and spices!

Cheese and Spinach Triangle
Absolutely loved the cheese and spinach triangle from Manoosh Pizzeria! It was filled with cheese (as you can see), some spinach and a few pickles. We always see a wide variety of cheese and spinach triangle - some with sesame seeds, some without, some with lots of cheese, some with lots of spinach/pickle but whatever the combination might be, it ends up in our satisfied tummy! This triangle was crispy on the outside, piping hot on the inside (even on a super windy day) and loaded with filling.

Zaatar Bread
Zaatar bread is usually served folded or you can choose to roll it yourself however, we were told that Manoosh Pizzeria makes the Zaatar bread extra crunchy for people eating in. They cook it once and take it through the conveyor belt again to crisp the base. It was probably too crispy for our liking but having said that, we completely smashed it.
